Community Work/Service Without Pay, as an alternative to imprisonment, is a measure aimed at the social rehabilitation and integration of minor offenders into society, especially young persons.
Since 2005 we have been implementing this programme, in cooperation with the state, in the context of the implementation of the Law on the Probation and treatment of young offenders 46(1)1996.
Within the framework of the program, the Community Service Supervisors, employed by the District Volunteerism Coordinative Councils, undertake the supervision of the offenders until the completion of their Community Work and the Court Order, in collaboration with the Welfare Officers.
